Crypto Unicorns Public Issue Board Launch
The Crypto Unicorns team would like to take our next step towards being more communicative, especially with ongoing issues with the game with a Public Trello Board
Throughout CU’s run, we’ve learned plenty of lessons from our experience and communication with its players. We’ve built this game with the intent of creating a generational IP together with the community.
And it has been a fun ride creating something special with so many people! However, we know that it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows. Part of what we’ve learned by communicating with our community is that we ought to communicate better. We take this feedback to heart whenever we talk to our players and the topic is brought up.
And so, we’d like to take our next step towards being more communicative, especially with ongoing issues with the game. We do believe that players who have been investing their time, resources, and effort in CU deserve to know what problems currently exist and how they are being worked on.
As such, we’re happy to announce the release of our Crypto Unicorns Public Issue board hosted on Trello!

Our goal is to create more transparent communication with the community regarding which issues have been identified, which are being worked on, and the priority level of these issues.
How does the board work?
The board will be divided into the following regions where issue cards will be assigned:
Reported/Known issues - these are reported or known issues that have been publicly acknowledged.
In progress - these are issues that are currently being worked on for a resolution.
Assigned to release - these issues have been resolved but are still awaiting deployment/release
Done/Closed - these issues have been resolved and their fixes have been deployed
We will be maintaining cards under this region for thirty (30) days until we archive them for organization purposes.
This duration also serves as a monitoring period for the resolved item to check for full resolution and/or possible regression.
Issue Classification
Priority is defined as the urgency of an issue where a player may be blocked from important processes (i.e., unable to access certain game loops, cannot play the game, cannot use certain features, etc.).
Frequency is defined as the spread/occurrence of the issue across unique users (i.e., isolated issues are low frequency whereas replicable issues across many users are high frequency).
Trello issue cards will be labeled based on the above situations with the following color-coding:
Our goal is to maintain this board weekly where the team is able to communicate internally regarding these issues and their current status so please expect us to review these issues on a per-week basis (some issues though may not have updates throughout a week depending on current schedule and team workload).
We understand that some adjustments and actions over time are needed to fully realize the level of communication that we’d like to establish with the community. However, our hope is that this would be a good first step for us to provide everyone with further information and foster a better level of trust in terms of how we handle issues.
Thank you as always for your support and we hope to always improve CU to be the best it can possibly be!
