RBW to CU Migration Guide
The Rainbow Bridge launch is almost upon us! Learn how to bridge RBW to CU via the Rainbow Bridge on this guide.
Crypto Unicorns is now on Arbitrum! Players will now be able to bridge their $RBW tokens to Arbitrum in exchange for $CU tokens through the Rainbow Bridge. Rainbow Bridge is the platform where players can bridge $RBW to Arbitrum.
Go to the Rainbow Bridge here: https://www.cryptounicorns.fun/bridge
❗️Note: Once your $RBW has converted into $CU, they cannot be bridged from Arbitrum back to Polygon! You may keep some $RBW on Polygon to use for in-game actions (breed, Rainbow Marketplace, etc.)
What You’ll Need to Migrate $RBW to $CU?
Prepare these first for your successful migration of $RBW to $CU.
$MATIC on Polygon for gas fees.
$RBW on Polygon that will be migrated into $CU.
$ETH on Arbitrum One for gas fees.
Preparing Your Wallet
Adding Arbitrum One Network
Start your migration journey by adding Arbitrum One network to your Metamask Wallet. Click on your Metamask extension icon and click the network button on the upper left part of the Metamask popup. Then, click the “Add network” button and you’ll be redirected to the “Add network settings” where you can find the networks available to add to your wallet. Find “Arbitrum One” and click “Add.” A confirmation will pop up. Approve to proceed to adding network.
Switch to Arbitrum One Network
Go to your Metamask wallet. Click the network button on the upper-left part of the popup and choose Arbitrum One as your network.
Importing Tokens on Arbitrum One
On your Metamask under the “Tokens” tab, click “Import Tokens” and CU and XAI tokens. Paste the contract address and add the Token symbol and click “Next,” one at a time. You may find the contract addresses below:
CU on Arbitrum One:
0x89C49A3fA372920aC23ce757A029e6936c0b8e02
XAI on Arbitrum One (for gas, needed for Xai in addition to Arbitrum One wrapped Ethereum):
0x4Cb9a7AE498CEDcBb5EAe9f25736aE7d428C9D66
Lastly, click “Import” and the token should be successfully imported into your wallet.
How to Bridge $RBW to Arbitrum?
Note: You will need an amount of $MATIC for gas fees when bridging $RBW to Arbitrum. Players will receive 1 $CU for every 10 $RBW bridged.
To bridge your tokens to Arbitrum head over to the Rainbow Bridge website here:
https://www.cryptounicorns.fun/bridge
Proceed to connect the Polygon wallet where your tokens are stored. Enter the quantity of RBW you want to bridge to Arbitrum. The amount of $CU that the player will receive on Arbitrum once the transaction has been completed will reflect on the page, as well as the estimated duration of the transaction. Once you’ve confirmed the amount of RBW to bridge click “Confirm.”
A blockchain transaction will come up, to proceed with the transaction click “Confirm.” Wait for the transaction to be completed (this should take around 20 minutes). Once the transaction has been completed and the RBW successfully bridged to Arbitrum, a notification will pop up on the top left of the screen and indicate that the tokens have been moved to the target chain!
You can also check the transaction status on LayerZeroScan. Finally, switch to the Arbitrum One network, and you should be able to see your $CU on Arbitrum.
Bridging $RBW to a Specific Wallet in Arbitrum
This option can be used by smart wallets on Polygon since the address for the desired smart wallet to bridge $RBW/$CU will be different on Arbitrum.
With Rainbow Bridge, there is also an option to bridge your RBW to a specific wallet over in Arbitrum. To do this, head to the Rainbow Bridge website and connect your Polygon wallet. Enter the amount of RBW you are bridging over to Arbitrum. Then click the “Custom Recipient” button under “Amount” and enter the specific recipient wallet address.
Note: Always triple-check that the custom recipient wallet is correct as that address will be what receives the CU once it lands on Arbitrum.
Once the amount of RBW and the recipient wallet address are confirmed, click “Send.” This will then open a blockchain transaction pop-up. Confirm the transaction to proceed. A notification will pop up on the top right of the screen which will indicate that your RBW has been successfully bridged to Arbitrum. Finally, switch to the Arbitrum One network, and you should be able to see your $CU on Arbitrum. You can also check the transaction status on LayerZeroScan.
