Tribes Leaderboard Season 1
Check out all the details for Tribes Leaderboard Season 1 in the article below.
Note: The Shadowforge and Tribes Leaderboard won't be live alongside the 3.1 Release but players can still start earning Leaderboard points starting 15 Feb 2024 UTC. No points will be lost due to this.
As we introduce Patch 3.1’s two new major features Tribes and Gems, we’re giving the Leaderboard a new twist: we added a “Choose Your Own Adventure” Leaderboard which gives players more choices when it comes to the rewards they want to receive. The competitive spirit is also more alive than ever with the Individual and Tribe vs Tribe Leaderboards offering incredible rewards for high-ranking ‘corns!
The Tribes and Gems Leaderboard will run from February 15, 2024 to May 15, 2024 UTC.
Leaderboard Components
Choose Your Own Adventure (CYA)
In Choose Your Own Adventure, you can choose between two reward paths—Solo Yolo and Helping Horn.
Solo Yolo
If you are more at home with the Shadowcorns, the Solo Yolo may be the path for you. The rewards here are more solo player-focused and designed to help specific Unicorns and individual player game loops.
Helping Horn
If you want to go the extra mile in helping out your Tribe, the Helping Horn may be the path for you. The rewards are focused on boosting Tribe buildings and making crafting Tribe materials easier.
Here are things to take note of in the CYA event:
Each reward path has 20 rewards and you can redeem them through vouchers.
You receive 1 voucher per 500 Leaderboard points earned and you can receive up to 20 vouchers.
You are not limited to just one path when redeeming rewards; you can choose from both reward paths though this would mean that you cannot complete a path in its entirety.
You have the entirety of the event and seven (7) days after the end of it to redeem the vouchers you have received. Any unredeemed vouchers after that point will be considered lost.
Your chosen rewards will be sent to you after the end of the event.
All voucher redeems are final so make sure to choose your redemptions carefully.
Like the previous leaderboards, you accumulate points as you accomplish tasks related to the feature the Leaderboard is dedicated to—in this case, Tribes and Gems. For the CYA Event, the maximum amount of Leaderboard points that count towards it is 10,000. Any subsequent points earned after 10,000 points count only towards the Individual Leaderboard.
Note: As this is a new system, an audit of vouchers received/redeemed will be conducted before the rewards are distributed. Players found to be exploiting or attempting to exploit this system may end up with their rewards being forfeited.
Individual Leaderboard
Aside from the CYA Event, there is also a more traditional Individual Leaderboard. Compared to the CYA Event where rewards are “guaranteed” (provided that you have progressed enough to get a voucher and you have redeemed a reward), the rewards awarded by the Individual Leaderboard are based on your rank, like the previous leaderboards.
The rationale for implementing an Individual Leaderboard alongside the CYA event is to provide an avenue for players to continue their competitive streak past the 10,000 Leaderboard point cap the CYA event has and in turn fight for high placements and more rewards.
Tribes vs Tribes
For those who are eager to prove that their Unicorn gang is the best of the rest a la Clan Leaderboards, the Tribes vs Tribes event is made for you! The event task points of all tribe members are consolidated into a total that will be used to rank your tribe versus other tribes in the leaderboard.
The tribes who will come out on top will not only win bragging rights but also one of the largest reward pools we have ever done for a single leaderboard! May the best tribe win!
Note: While the event ends in May, XAI Rewards won't be distributed until after migration.
Tribe Contributions
While it is technically a leaderboard, The Tribe Contributions Leaderboard serves more as a tribe management/status tool where tribe members can see the level of contribution a member has to their tribe. More specifically, this leaderboard tracks the amount of tribe resources a player has contributed towards the tribe’s resource pool. There are no specific rewards associated with this leaderboard.
We’ve also added a 4x multiplier for Pearlescent Panel contributions. This multiplier only applies to the contribution weight (used to compute how much XAI rewards a player will receive at the end of the leaderboard), and it will not affect the leaderboard points.

Changelog
7/17/2024: We included a published Google sheet wherein users can check which path they chose for the CYA of the Tribes Leaderboard.
5/29/2024: The leaderboard results were added to the article.
3/15/2024: A note was added regarding the distribution of XAI Rewards.
2/20/2024: We have removed “Upgrade Tribe Building” from our table of event tasks and posts. This is because the point distribution for this task does not accurately reflect the level of effort and contribution needed from within the tribe, which may vary depending on the situation.
2/29/2024: We have updated the distribution method of XAI rewards for the leaderboard. We’ve instead opted to divide the rewards of each Tribe based on contribution weight. We’ve also added a 4x multiplier for Pearlescent Panels to the contribution weight. These were changes based on community feedback.
