Joust Results UI
The message that players receive when collecting Joust rewards from the mailbox now includes more information on the Joust match, including the Unicorn’s name, placement, and impact on the Unicorn’s ELO.
Jousting
Joust Variable Configurations
Based on the previous Joust weekend’s matches, we noticed Endurance was an overpowered stat in terms of staggers, knockdown, and recovery. In this patch, we have:
Lessened the impact of Endurance in Joust matches and lowered the rates for absorb, stagger, and recovery.
Slightly increased the base recovery chance.
Significantly increased knockdown_shift (the score bonus when achieving a knockdown) and damage_shake (variance applied to base damage).
Joust Potions Bonuses
Jousting potions now provide additive boosts instead of multiplicative boosts. Using potions now gives your Unicorns a flat bonus instead of a percentage bonus.
Updated Joust Battle Pass
The update on the Joust battle pass will be revised based on our players’ feedback.
A full breakdown of the Battle Pass can be found here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LgG1A
Note: The previous Joust Battle Pass will be extended until the next release.
Codex Charges
Previously, Tier IV and V Codices had a minimum charge range of 1. We’ve updated the minimum range for these tiers, with Tier IV ranging from 3-9 and Tier V ranging from 2-6.
Questboard Quickbuy Issues
When players use the quickbuy button to get berries for Questing, they would encounter a bug where returning to the Quest UI allows you to add a Unicorn but the quest can’t be started. There are some instances wherein you can proceed sending this Unicorn on a quest, but this can lead to a different issue upon returning to the questing/crafting menu and seeing your Unicorn doesn’t have the required energy anymore.
This patch resolves this issue and users can now complete quests as normal. Time to get Questing!
Fewer Rewards for Heart and Rainbow Weekly Quests
We’ve patched up the bug where players would only get 2 rewards for Heart and Rainbow Class Weekly Quests, beginning 5/10. Players should get all 3 rewards as intended.
Exchange Quests Disappear When Expired
Exchange Quests used to disappear when a player was logged in to the game and the timer has expired. Now you won’t have to refresh the game — we’ve extended the expiry period of these exchanges to a longer period of time.

08 March 2024, 12:19 AM UTC - The “Consolation Prizes Changes” section has been removed. After deliberating on the feedback from the community, the team has decided to retain the current Joust Reward Distribution.
08 March 2024, 01:16 AM UTC - The “Optimization” section has been removed. Although the current plan to optimize RPC calls works temporarily, it eventually burns the RPC in a different way, producing a worse experience than before. However, we believe we have a lead on a better solution to the problem and we will implement, test, and roll out as soon as possible.
